Having had continued problems finding available time to review the ARK
upgrades I have taken on a new reviewer for the X400 site. I will still
do some review work but the majority for X400tuning will be now passed
on to the new member of the review team. I hope to get the first reviews
in the coming couple of weeks. Having cleared the backlog the site will
tackle the recent X400 CNC head upgrades. |

a different Carbon CCPM frame and also a standard (non CCPM) frame. I have

Slowly the X400 market is starting to come online, which means X400 tuning
will have more work to do as upgrades become available. Here is one of
the first after market upgrades I've seen : Carbon CCPM Frame
I am currently testing the MS Composit 280mm blades on the X400, more on

After much fiddling around I have finally managed to get a linear +/- 9
degrees of pitch. This wasn't all that difficult just a laborious process
keeping 0 degrees at center stick. Having completed this I can now start
motor tests. |

MFIS are sending their new CNC tail case for review, this is a T-Rex upgrade
part but I believe it will also fit the X400..
X400Tuning will be doing articles on all of the CSM range of gyros with
the help of CSM, thanks to Nigel Fraser Ker and Colin Mill for arranging
this.
Hopefully this will include some recommended settings for the CSM 560 software
for best control of the tail on an X400.

Immediate plan is to test the AON 2815-3000 in the X400 with both 3S and
4S power. I hope to have this test result in the next couple of days, unfortunately
time ran out for this to be ready for the announcement date. Mostly due
to weather conditions.
CCPM frames will be coming for review as soon as they are available, I'm
told two weeks. Including the 120 CCPM CNC swashplate.
Completed some basic setup information.
Re-checked and updated all sections with missing info.
Need to find some videos of the X400. |
