The tail boom can only fit one way on the X400. The slot in the boom goes into the main frames and stops the boom from rotating. The hole in the other end of the boom locates on a small peg inside the gearbox and stops rotation of the tail gear box. I used the long tail pushrod to pull the tail belt through the boom. The boom is inserted into the main frames and then the belt is twisted onto the main frames drive pulley. The pinch bolts on the mainframe can then be tightened to clamp the boom in place. The belt should be run loose such that when it is pushed it can nearly touch the other side of the belt. The manual covers this in nice clear detail The white pins should be CA'd onto the carbon pushrods.
