The X400 comes with a single set of wooden blades, almost identical to those shipped in T-Rex kits for the last 6 months or so apart from being slightly shorter. These seem to provide a reasonable level of performance but for higher headspeeds or powerful 3D moves a more capable set of blades will be required.

The blades supplied are 280mm in length so conceivably carbon blades designed for a Zoom/Zap/Shogun should also fit the X400.

The first blades I will be reviewing on the X400 will be the MS Composit 280mm carbons as I already have a set of these but they were too small for the T-Rex on which they were originally tested. They did produce good power for their size on the T-Rex so it will be interesting to see how they fair on the X400.

I'll also be making comment on how the supplied wood blades perform but I need a good deal more air time with the X400 before I can make any real observations.
